John's expertise in commercialization, innovation, new business development and direct sales, venture funding and M&A includes client/partner relationship management for startup and Fortune 500 companies in the software, semiconductors, social networking, and Internet/content sectors.

Experience includes strategic venture capital / M&A / portfolio management; business development and sales for complex offerings; strategies and business models for divisions, startups and products; business plan development for new ventures and new revenue streams; product plans for new products, product migration/product evolution. Clients include NEC Semiconductor, International Thomson, Magnify.com, and numerous startups.

Taligo has a business partnership with the Bi-National Sustainability Laboratory (BNSL) of El Paso, Texas.

John is currently Chair of the Marketing Committee for CNSV. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) and the Silicon Valley Engineering Council. He has been a Delegate from the Santa Clara Valley Section of IEEE to the Silicon Valley Engineering Council. Previously he was a member of the NISO accredited Standards Board within the Association for Information and Imaging Management (AIIM).

John is currently a CNSV At-Large Director and Chair of the Consulting Practices Program.
