Developed Concept of Operations and System Architecture for an EPA Water Contamination Monitoring System. Guided design, development and test thru incremental release. Integrated software with Oracle and Access DBs.Verified compliance for a NASA Space Station system to be operated by astronauts and ground-based researchers. Developed an integrated schedule for 600+ tasks and 8 verification engineers. Negotiated with management to waive negligible compliance issues and save months of redevelopment.
Deployed and maintained a Linux and Solaris-based set of six Mission Control Centers of approximately 80 workstations and 10 servers.
Led a client's software development department. Charted an iterative, Object Oriented approach, starting with Use Cases and UML trace diagrams and cumulating in test cases. Implemented a review program to comply with a metrics collection. Developed software and system engineering and development using C++, Java, and Sybase RDBMS on Sun/Solaris.
