Victor Ramamoorthy has extensive experience in Video Compression Algorithms from the simplest and the most complex - Standards, Pre and Post-processing, Transcoding, Deblocking, Denoising, Rate control, Color Space Management, Video scaling, Video camera Image processing pipeline for De-mosaicing, White Balance, Tone Mapping, Object recognition and tracking, Panoramic Mosaicing, Multi-camera fusion, 3D metrology, face recognition, High Dynamic Range Image processing for display devices, Geometry processing for sensor and display devices. He is equally fluent in Speech compression, Speech recognition, Speech enhancement, active noise control, high quality audio compression, Digital Sound Projector, Wavefield Synthesis, Voice over IP, Audio conferencing, Speaker and microphone array processing.

His work has resulted in international standards and he has received the 1997 Lucent Patent award for his inventions. He has published more than 50 technical papers in international journals including IEEE. He has worked and consulted with major Silicon Valley Semiconductor companies and startups.
